Business Meeting - Third Tuesday of each month. Meeting begins
at 7:15 p.m. at Monroe High School. Secretary, Treasurer, and Committee
Reports are heard and business needing the vote of the membership
is transacted.
Social Time - A short social break is held, where members share
food and refreshments, which are supplied by members who sign up
in advance to participate.
Block Drawings - Orchestrated by the Vice President, twelve "Block
of the Month" patterns are prepared at the beginning of
each year. Members are invited to make one - or as many as they
wish.
Each block counts as one chance to win all the blocks in the
group. Patterns are printed in the monthly newsletter.
Fat Quarter Drawing - All members who wish to participate bring
a fat quarter which is included in the pile. The name of one of
the participants is drawn, and that quilter takes home all the
fat quarters.
Show and Tell - Completed quilts and quilt tops are displayed on
the walls of the meeting room. The quilter describes her quilt
during Show and Tell. Projects in progress are shown by members
who share their stories with the Guild.
